Radnor Hunt  Rally & Concours d'Elegance

The organizing committee of the Radnor Hunt Concours d'Elegance weekend is very pleased to invite all VSCCA members to attend the TWELTH ANNUAL event on September 12, 13, and 14, 2008 in the beautiful rolling hills and horse farms of Willistown Township west of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania benefiting the Willistown Conservation Trust, Thorncroft Therapeutic Horseback Riding Inc., and The Boy Scouts of America.

VSCCA members have been extremely supportive of both the Radnor rally and "The 100 Motor Cars of Radnor Hunt" in the past, and we hope more members will discover it this year.

Any car is welcome in the rally, the sportier the better, and if we have a half dozen or so members WE GET OUR OWN TROPHY!

   

The Concours cars are selected by invitation to represent a carefully planned educational and aesthetic experience. There is always a balance between historic, classic, sports and performance racing cars. If you would like your car to be considered for an invitation, please see the website to download an application. This year's features are The Art and Colour of GM; ZAGATO bodied cars (I know there are lots of these in the club!); and BSA motorcycles.

We have another new feature this year for club members - a DISCOUNT PACKAGE for the show if you bring an interesting car for the VSCCA club parking field. Please see the separate description of this option. I will coordinate any/all who want to take advantage of this offer.

Activities for the weekend include:

" Friday night barbeque.
" Saturday morning rally through the local countryside.
" Saturday night automotive art show and gala dinner party, black-tie (optional).
" Sunday, The 100 Motor Cars of Radnor Hunt Concours d'Elegance.
