6-17-06 update to Autophotos service & terms
5" X 7" & 8" X 10"
As you know, after a VSCCA event I leave photographs beyond the thumbnails up for a month or three.
These are sized 6"x150 DPI (= 3"x300 DPI) so that you can download a snapshot for personal use -> for this service I ask $5.00 each be sent to me at the address below- this is totally by honor system - thank you to all who avail themselves of this service & send a donation.
Beyond the hours spent taking the photographs, processing them & posting them ->
When an order is made for an enlargement; I spend somewhere between three and four hours, locating, re-processing and printing (or running to the lab) packaging and running to the post office. (What does your mechanic charge for four hours work?)
Therefore I have had to limit my smallest enlargement to 13"X19" at $100.00 - still something of a loss leader.
Recently I have had requests for smaller photographs such as 5" X 7" & 8" X 10" - I am sorry it is just not economically feasible to fulfill these requests.
In an attempt to split the difference, I will offer to send you a high resolution (approximately 8"X10" @ 300 dpi**) .jpg file for you to either print or download to a card or CD and take to your own lab for printing - these are still copyrighted images and permission will be granted for one time personal use. (up to five prints - so you can give one to your mechanic and family)
Cost of this service? $35.00 each photograph, each use
If this works for you - please send (snail mail only) a request stating image number (Events from 2004 on only) and enclose a check for $35.00 (ea. - plus tax if in CT) made out to Ed Hyman and mailed to the address below.

**many photos are cropped - a un-cropped file is approximately 8"x12" at 250dpi or 6.6"x10" at 300dpi -
as a full resolution file you will be able to fine tune on your own PC -
please be sure to include your high speed e-mail address to receive the file(s)

An enlargement can be made of any photograph shown in the photo gallery section of this site (2004 on)
(identified by the name/number shown in the lower left corner) or with a Photostat of the shot taken out of
the club magazine - 'The Vintage Sports Car'
or by returning a proof, if provided.
My local color lab has closed, at this time the size of enlargement that I can provide is limited to:
13"X19" Super B size (with 5" matt, will fit standard 18"X24" frame) $100.00
