All MG Racers, Along With All Other VSCCA Members, Invited to Lime Rock On October 7th & 8th, To Participate In The VSCCA Fall Finale

$299.00 - EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO ACT QUICKLY = $299.00

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the MGA. And 50th anniversaries don't come along every day! To honor this significant benchmark, the Vintage Sports Car Club of America will celebrate this anniversary by adding special - one time - "All MG" racing group at their "Fall Finale" race weekend at Lime Rock Park, Ct, this October 7-8 (Fri/Sat). Although this is usually a closed "club event", they have graciously opened it up to all vintage MG racers, and all vintage MGs - including those racing with other vintage clubs - affording many non-VSCCA MG racers an unusual opportunity. Pre-War MGs through MGBs will be there to join our regular turnout. This will also bring back many memories - as Lime Rock Park first opened in 1957, where new MGAs were dicing on the tarmac back then.
We expect a large turnout of MGs for this special event - as well as the regular VSCCA entries - and the VSCCA is even extending a special "Early Bird" discounted entry to all entrants - who enter by August 15th. See the entry form for details on the event and related items.

Lime Rock Park - nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of northwest Connecticut - is a favorite vacation area. Early October is one of the most beautiful times of the year there, as the fall foliage colors paint the surrounding hills. And the track itself as you know, is more like a park, as spectators sit on grassy hills to watch the races. There are many B&Bs in the area, but all lodging books up early for this time of year - so don't wait to make your reservations - or just camp out at the track if you wish.

The weekend will be special for everyone. And Dave Ash -of MGA racing fame - will be our honored guest! There will be a VSCCA dinner at the White Hart Inn in nearby Salisbury on Friday evening (see dinner form), and there will be special mementos for all race entrants. Besides that , we are promoting the event to MG and British car clubs in the Northeast to come and watch us race - so expect lots of vintage car enthusiasts to be there cheering you on, and checking out our fabulous steeds. And the North American MGA Register will be presenting a special award to an MG racer at this event.

I look forward to having you come race with us where "The Cars Are the Stars", and be part of this special event - and part of history - as we celebrate 50 years of the MGA, and just have some good old fun racing our fabulous steeds!

I hope you can make it. I will be there racing my MGA and hope to see you there. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

As always - "Safety Fast",
Andy
