MAY 29-31 Fri-Sun - The New Jersey Vintage Grand Prix Festival - Millville New Jersey

PDF - NJVF 2009 entry form

PDF - car show entry 09

We are proud to announce the dates for the 2nd Annual New Jersey Vintage Grand Prix Festival at NJ Motorsports Park on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 29-31st, 2009 on the Thunderbolt track. Registration forms for the races and the car show are attached.

Registration forms, payments and additional information can also be seen and downloaded on our newly updated website, www.njvgp.com After the daytime races this year, we will be cruising before dark to downtown Millville where the town will host a late night shopping, dining and an art show on Friday night for the registered race cars and Saturday night for the car show registrants.   When we return to the park the after parties will be held at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

THIS EVENT IS ALSO THE KICK-OFF OF THREE TRIPLE CROWN EVENTS

The NJVGPF, PVGP and the Mt. Equinox Hillclimb are the three events that will make up the triple crown.  For eligibility for the Triple Crown, the club member must run their car in three different styles of club sanctioned events in a single season: A Racetrack Course-On the Newest & Best Racetrack on the East Coast; a True 'On the Streets' Race-the last true Street Race in the USA and a Hill Climb-the longest continually run Hill Climb in the world and most historic venue on the VSCCA calendar.  This new recognition is intended to encourage members to enjoy their cars in three different types of events.   Having achieved all three-car owners will be presented with a recognition of accomplishment, a museum quality Vitreous Cloisonné Enamel Grille Badge, at the end of the year VSCCA Banquet.

The faster you send your registrations the more it will assist us, immensely. This will allow us to gage how large the event will be this year, therefore helping us create a better event for the club. Remember, all proceeds benefit the Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland. We are looking forward to seeing you race weekend!

We also have a open invitation to any car club member to come inspect the project. Please thank Paul and Jerry for all their time and expertise on the project.
