2010 VSCCA Virginia Int'l Raceway Entry PDF ->2010VIR

Ladies and gentleman,
Spring has finally sprung and it's time to think about going racing with your friends and with the VSCCA! There is no shortage of races, places or dates offered, but there are few events as friendly and appreciative of you and your car than at VSCCA VIR.
Please consider coming to one of the most remarkable venues in the country, Virginia International Raceway, for our May 15-16 event. This time of year, the weather is usually spectacular. The dinner at the Club House on-site has sold out for many years!
We've had a great time over the last decade starting with the inaugural year of the track's reopening and hosting the MGVR Focus Event in 2000. We hosted the Third US Bugatti Grand Prix in 2001, the Bentley Bash in 2003 and have been blessed with seeing a whole host of faces both new and familiar. The modest entry fee is only $325 and the dinner is very reasonable. Come on down!
We've also hosted a "Southern" VSCCA driver's school for several years, thanks to the assistance and leadership of George Vapaa.
Please click on this link to go directly to the event website: VSCCA VIR Governor's Cup Races, May 15-16, 2010 INFO HERE
We have three dozen folks already entered and we look forward to seeing you this May!
I am available to answer any questions via e-mail or phone contacts below.
I recommend reserving accommodations on-site at VIR at the Villas, the Paddock Suites and the Lodge, all available through Tammy Journigan at (434) 822-7700 x101
Best, Peter

JUNE 4/5 Fri-Sat - Lime Rock with the Jaguar Club

VSCCA / Jaguar Club June 4, & June 5
This year the ever popular VSCCA / Jaguar Club event will be held at Lime Rock Park on Friday June 4 and Saturday June 5. This meet will be run as an open exhaust event, (i.e. your car does not need to be muffled).  In past years each group was able to get on the track four times each day.   We will try to repeat this again this year. There will be a class for non-VSCCA (post 1959) racecars. As always please get your entries in early.

Through the generosity of some members the paddock party will consist of a Texas Barbeque on Friday night.  All are invited. However volunteers are still needed to help with this gathering and donations in the form of wine, beer and sodas will be gratefully accepted. As a matter of fact donations in any form will be gratefully accepted.  You could help sponsor the worker's lunch on Friday or Saturday, or the corner worker's dinner on Saturday evening.
