1953 MG TD Supercharged Vintage Race Car and Aluminum Trailer For Sale

This is a high-quality vintage race car ready to race and in exceptional condition.

TD28189 has had one owner since 1991 and it has been vintage racing with VSCCA continuously since 2001. 

Mike Agnifilo of Stone Bridge Sports and Classics has done maintenance and race prep since 2011. The car ran flawlessly at two VSCCA events in 2026 at Lime Rock Park. It is currently race-prepared and ready for your next event.

This MG TD is road registered and insured and could easily be transformed for street use. It has a working hand brake, headlights, tail lights and brake.

Chassis:

• Number: 28189 EXL/NA
• Vintage legal removable bolt-in roll bar 

Motor:

• 1500cc XPEG Built by Marcovici-Wenz Engineering in 2022
• Dyno report indicates 130 hp at 7100 rpm and 115Ibft. @4400 rpm 

Supercharger/induction:

• Marshall-Nordec J75 (Unique hardware suggests this may be an original factory installation.)
• Supercharger rebuilt by Marcovici-Wenz Engineering in 2022
• 1.5-inch SU H4 carburetor rebuilt by Joe Curto
• Supercharger boost gauge 

Engine External:

• Dailey Engineering external oil pump with remote oil filter
• Custom stainless steel exhaust headers by Manley Ford 

Fuel cell:

• ATL fuel cell and standard fuel tank 

Electrical:
