Wilbraham Hill Climb

HILL CLIMB

Saturday, May 9th, 2026

26 Monson Road, Wilbraham, MA

Event Chair: Jeff DeMarey (413) 531-3991‬

Event Information & Registration

The Wilbraham Hill Climb is a re-enactment of the 1908 historic climb up Wilbraham Mountain, an unofficial proving ground for many of the early automobile and motorcycle manufacturers of the Brass Era.

The 1908 event was put on by the Automobile Club of Springfield and sanctioned by the racing board of the American Automobile Association. The cars were timed over a measured mile by the Timing Club of New York City.

This is a town wide celebration that includes a car show, craft show, plant sale, food vendors and a DJ.

"While the old Sport Hill Road race course in Easton, CT has evolved into a multi-lane high traffic state road, we still want to celebrate Fairfield County's contribution to modern day auto racing as we know it. Before the Indianapolis Speedway, or even the Vanderbilt Cup closed course races on Long Island - there were Hill Climbs, and none more popular than the one held right here in Easton, CT."
